“Visited Pataka for the first time for 2 friends and we loved it. The owner and chef, Sreenath came out to chat and told us he was the main chef at the upscale restaurant East India Company in downtown Portland for many years, a place I had a high regard for, and opened this place last year. We ordered Gobi 65, Veg dum biryani, saag paneer tacos and masala chicken fries, and masala chai. We loved it all. It has a very real and trendy feel to it. Definitely will be coming here frequently.”

We live in SW Portland but it’s worth every mile to Dine in at this Beaverton spot. Everything is so tasty and flavorful, our favorite is fish Koliwada and Apollo Fish then Biryani’s and Sag Paneer and Dal Tadka. Just great food and friendly service. Highly recommended.”

“Ordered paneer tikka masala (spicy, by request) and garlic naan. Came with spiced basmati. Generous portion arrived. Very tasty. The tikka masala wasn’t too sweet, like so many other places. Garlic naan had plenty of garlic. Owner was very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.”

“If you're looking for a delicious and unique dining experience, this new Indian fusion restaurant is a must-try! I’ve been twice now, and both times have been absolutely fantastic. The butter chicken is out of this world—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. I also highly recommend the Gobi; it’s got the perfect amount of heat and flavor. On top of the incredible food, the service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and prompt. Definitely a place I’ll be visiting often!”

Mango Kulfi

$3.99

Frozen dairy dessert flavored with ripe mango.

“Excellent food. Everything is made fresh. I have tried lamb vindaloo and paneer tacos, chicken fries and chicken kebabs. It is a flavor bomb in every bite. We devoured the hot fresh naan. For desert I have tried mango lassi and mango kulfi which were both creamy and delicious. The prices are very reasonable for freshly made food. The food can be a bit spicy so you can ask to adjust when ordering.”
